Retired Tennessee Sheriff Recalls Harrowing Vietnam Experiences Book signing set for Lebanon Wilson Chamber of Commerce

Lebanon, Tennessee – Terry Ashe was working in a Lebanon clock factory and planning a career in law enforcement after high school graduation, but when he received his draft card, his dreams of becoming a sheriff were put on hold. After training as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division, Ashe was promptly deployed to Vietnam, where numerous near misses, close calls, and chance encounters tested and reaffirmed his faith, but left a permanent mark that time will never erase.
